Art Basel 2016 has come and gone! This year was one for the books. Let’s just say there was an overwhelming mount of events open to the public instead of the usual invite only aka “you better have a plug” type events. We were lucky enough to have our own called Swerve Basel. If you’ve been following our brand for some time then you know we are creatives. Art and music are huge influences in our brand aesthetic and we wanted to make that come alive during our pop up. We wanted to do something we’ve never done, and create a whole different vibe than our usual shows. If you’ve attended our past events, you know its always filled with lots of people and music bustling through speakers. Swerve Basel was different and a unique experience. We introduced people to our upcoming beat tape, Wave Olympics Volume 1 as well as to our latest collection, VSA. For the sounds of the event, we had several dope creatives on the line up. From the C9 collective, JK the Reaper and Twelve’Len. We also wrapped up the night with Ye Ali from the West Coast. Fabe Focus was the mastermind behind the sounds during our installation which you can hear more of on our beat tape project. Be on the lookout for the premiere of Wave Olympics and head to the online shop to cop some of the new gear!
