This weekend, there was a new video clip of a kid you may have seen before. He’s knows on social media as the Young Jamaican Trainer or Demarjay Smith. Earlier this year, you may have seen another clip featuring the young motivational speaker yelling “Strength! No weakness” on the stoop while doing push-ups. This time the video was still comical, but there’s a deeper message that we as adults often forget or simply try to put on the back burner.
Vintage Stereon didn’t just become what it is today overnight. We have been working at this since high school. There have been many mistakes which we’d like to call lessons along the way and we still have a long way to go.
Now this video can be looked at as humorous. However, we all have aspirations whether big or small. Nothing comes easy, it’s the effort and the grind you put into it. Always remember something that you aren’t willing to work at there’s someone else that will, and possibly even harder than you can ever imagine. Make a list of small goals or things you’ve already achieved. Seeing things on paper is often easier than only thinking about it. Most goals can’t be accomplished alone so make sure you are using your resources to help bring everything to fruition.
So who do you want to be ? Just another fish or the shark that everyone is on the lookout for. Don’t settle, don’t fall by the wayside. There’s something out there for all of us! We only have one lifetime on this earth, make it count. Invest in yourself.
